This cavernous space in the city's historic Dogpatch district is home to a start-up tech company titled Tugboat Yards. Aptly named, nearby is the waterfront where a variety of sea vessels still comb the bay.
The client wanted an unconventional office space; one that felt more residential than commercial with a comfortable, welcoming ease. Flor carpet tiles designate separate furnishings areas. Industrial light fixtures and exposed pipes reflect the gritty appeal of the neighborhood. Overscaled lounge chairs provide relaxed seating for client and staff meetings.
